Laura Story is a Bible teacher, worship leader, GRAMMY award-winning singer/songwriter, and bestselling author. “Blessings” was certified GOLD in 2011 and inspired her first book "What If Your Blessings Come Through Raindrops". Laura’s music and writing show God’s love and grace intersecting with real life, and serve as a reminder that despite questions or circumstances, He is the ultimate author of our story. Laura recently released a new book "When God Doesn’t Fix It; Lessons You Never Wanted to Learn, Truths You Can’t Live Without". She has a graduate degree from Covenant Theological Seminary and has served as a worship leader at Perimeter Church in Atlanta since 2005, but her greatest joy is being a wife to Martin and the mother to Ben, Griffin and Josie.

Elizabeth Reed:


At age 15, Elizabeth chose life and adoption for her daughter who was conceived in rape. Since then, she has dedicated herself to educating women on the truth about abortion and its consequences, and removing the societal stigmas associated with adoption. She has been speaking for pregnancy crisis centers, adoption 

fundraisers and others since 2005.

Elizabeth is currently the Executive Director of Georgia Businesses for Life, an organization striving to create a marketplace that is free from funding Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers. Her story is one of hope, love, sacrifice, and the redeeming love of Jesus Christ.

Thursday, September 29th, our annual Dessert and Coffee fundraiser will be held at beautiful Mill Town Music Hall in Bremen at 7:00 pm, seating begins 6:15 pm. There is no charge to attend but seating is limited and an RSVP is required.

Host A Table

How We Change The World (One Life at a Time)

The following are some talking points to aid you as you invite your guests. We believe the most critical understanding for guests to have is that this is a fundraising event. We ask that you invite individuals who will be inspired by the vision and inspired to give. As much as we value educating our community, this event focuses on fundraising. The monies raised are used to save the lives of the unborn and to spare the family untold sorrow.

The following information is important for you to know and pass on to your guests:

  • Event is September 29, 2016 at Mill Town Music Hall, Bremen, GA. The event will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m. Seating will begin at 6:15 p.m.

  • Evening includes: hors d'oeuvres, dessert, fruit, coffee, drinks, update on the PRC ministry, special video and client testimonials.

  • Dress Code is business casual.

  • Guests will be registered under their names. They will check in when they arrive and will be given your table number. Ushers will be available to help them find their table.

  • Special guests are Grammy® award winning singer/songwriter and best-selling author, Laura Story and our speaker, Elizabeth Reed, Executive Director of Georgia Businesses for Life.

  • A fundraising appeal will be given during the event with an opportunity to contribute that night or make a monthly pledge.

  • The estimated cost of saving a baby is $250; the cost of an ultrasound is $100.


The following information is important for you to know as a table host:

  • Prayerfully consider who you can invite and then personally invite your guests via phone/email. Fill your table with 8 individuals.

  • Table Registration Forms are due back to the PRC by Wednesday September 14, 2016. Email to Jennie English or Karmen Stamps

  • There is no charge to the event but this is a fundraiser. While we love children, this is an adults only event. Thank you for understanding.

  • Call and remind guests 3 days prior to event.

  • If you cannot fill your table, please notify PRC staff by September 7, 2016.

  • You will be given a table host packet at the event which includes brief instructions and pledge cards.

  • Immediately following the fundraising appeal, pass out the pledge cards (couples need one), collect the cards and place in large envelope.

  • Return to PRC Staff as directed at the event.

Educate Your Guests:

  • At our Pregnancy Resource Center, the estimated cost of saving a baby is $250; the cost of an ultrasound is $100. Our hope is that everyone who attends will choose to join the fight for life by making a donation that evening or through a monthly pledge.

  • Women who have an ultrasound are 80-90% more likely to choose life for their baby.

  • Our evening fundraising goal is $150,000.

  • Since opening in 1986, over 25,000 lives have been impacted, 1,256 babies have been saved and over 1,059 women and men have received Christ as their Savior at the Pregnancy Resource Center.

  • We serve women and their families from Carroll, Haralson and Heard counties.

  • In 2015, there were 1,224 client visits in which staff provided medical services and ministry support.

  • We receive no government funding.
